So many of us wonder how celebrities and instafamous bloggers can make any outfit look good. Most of us do not realize that there is a lot of work that goes into attaining that “effortless beauty.” Behind every flawless picture is a ton of prep, consulting, and changing. However, we are here to help make that process easier for you to feel your best. Here are three tips to help you feel your best in what you wear:
Make sure what you wear is properly fitted. I am not talking about sizing, but rather customization. If you spend a lot of money on your clothing, it’s worth investing in getting some pieces tailored to fit just to your body. Every body is different, so clothes fit everyone differently, but the reason a lot of stars always look put together is due to the fact that they go to a tailor to get fitted. You don’t have to go to a super high-end place. In fact, most tailors that can hem your pants can also take in a dress to hit you in all the right places. This trick is also helpful for a thrifty shopper. If you are shopping a big sale, but can’t find your size, simply grab something too big to get fitted later.
Shop old school and go into the stores. Yes, online shopping is amazing and convenient, but it is so hard to tell how we feel about something unless we actually go in and try it on. Also, stores that pride themselves on customer service can be super helpful in styling an outfit or suggesting different pieces. There are probably some of us who online shop, try things on, don’t love it, and fail to return it. Physically going into a store and trying on clothes will save you money because you will know that you are only buying what you already know you like on yourself.
Don’t be afraid to get advice! Compliments and tips will always help you feel even better. Sometimes it’s okay to ask those around you for some help, but when in doubt, with is what DAAMN! is for. Our verified stylists are ready to help you for any outfit for any occasion.
Looking your best can only be as important if you feel good about yourself. Using your own creativity and feeling good in your style already makes your look, but these are just some tips to help you feel your best in every outfit.
