It’s hard to believe that’s already the week of Thanksgiving! In honor of this holiday of gratitude, we have compiled a list of the five trends we are most thankful for this year. Some trends stayed from last year, and some popped up just for 2018. Either way, we are incredibly grateful to have them in our wardrobes right now.
Animal Print - If you haven’t been able to tell from our feed, or really any fashion company, we are l-l-loving animal print. Just like a zebra’s stripes or a cheetah’s spots, no two outfits are the same. Adding animal print to an outfit has been a great way to make your look unique, and not to mention all the designers keep hitting us with some fabulously ferocious pieces.
Yellow - I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again: yellow doesn’t have to be an off-limits color. Thank you 2018, to opening our eyes to golden and mustard yellow. We have now been able to expand the color palette in our closets thanks to the fashion inspo that celebs like Bella Hadid after showing us mustard is not just a condiment.
Comfort - From sneakers, to teddy jackets, to denim, we are grateful that this year comfort and fashion paired together like Elle Woods and her dog Bruiser. The streets have been filled with chic outfits that are affordable and comfy to wear. This is definitely a trend we can always be thankful for!
Camouflage - There have been many great patterns to grace us this year, but camo definitely was one of our favorites. From dresses to t-shirts to jumpers, we have seen many of our verified stylists rocking camouflage this year.
Jumpsuits - Sleek and easy to style: two characteristics of an amazing outfit. Jumpsuits have made a huge comeback. There are different styles for different occasions, and we are seeing them more and more. The best part of these is they look more complicated than they actually are, making them another trend we have to say thank you to.
So to all the trends we’ve loved, thank you! You have made our year more stylish and fun, and for that, we are truly grateful! Happy Thanksgiving!
