Fashion Lifesavers to Keep in Your Bag

Fashion Lifesavers to Keep in Your Bag

We have all been there. Maybe you wore tights and got a run, or you got a stain right when your day started. We have all had days where we plan an insta-worthy outfit, and as soon as we leave the house, something happens, and our outfit is ruined. It doesn’t have to be this way, though. Grab a little bag and fill it with these items with some of these fashion lifesavers!

Fashion Tape - If you are a fan of different necklines, then you already know what this is. Even if you don’t experiment with necklines, you should still get some of this in your bag. Fashion tape is used to hide any bras straps under your clothes. It’s basically just stronger double-sided tape. This can also be used to make the top you are wearing fall just the way you like it.

Protip: If you somehow get a snap or a hole during the day, you can use this to hide it for the time being.

Clear Nail Polish - This is truly a great hack from anyone that plans on wearing tights because nothing is worse than a great outfit being ruined by a run in your stockings. At the first signs of run starting, simply take some clear nail polish and paint over it. It will dry and harden to keep the potential run from getting any bigger.

Deodorant Sponge - Hollywood Fashion Secrets makes tons of lifesavers for every fashionista. A personal favorite of mine is the deodorant removing sponge. If you have been changing outfits recently or trying stuff on at different stores, then you have definitely experienced your deodorant rubbing onto the clothing (especially dark clothes) while you change. If that happens, just rub this little dry sponge over the spots on your clothes and poof, it is gone! Also, these are reusable, so you can buy one and it will last you a while.

Safety Pins - This is probably something your mothers and grandmothers have always preached about keeping in your bag too, and there is a reason that every generation needs them. If you realized you need to fix a button down or neckline, these are a great quick fix. They are also helpful if you break a button as they will hold your outfit together. We always recommend keeping a few on you.

Tide To Go - While the sponge mentioned before is amazing, it only helps with deodorant marks. The Tide To Go pens are perfect for any stain you might get while you are out and about. They might not be able to fix everything, but they will definitely be a big help!
